Building houses of gratitude for parishioners, presenting flags to fishermen of Son Hai commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 25, Division 324 coordinated with Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build a house of gratitude for the family of parishioner Nguyen Thi Nam, in village 9, Son Hai commune. Attending the ceremony was Colonel Trinh Van Hung - Political Commissar of Division 324, Military Region 4.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nam's family is a poor policy family. She is currently worshiping martyr Tran Van Bac (her husband's younger brother) who contributed to the resistance war against the US to save the country and died on October 10, 1972. Her husband, Mr. Tran Van Nien, passed away in 2009. She alone raised two school-age children.

Although she is a poor Catholic family, over the past time, she has encouraged family members to respect God, love their country, and properly implement the policies of the Party and the State.

In order to share the difficult situation of Mrs. Nam's family, Division 324 has allocated 70 million VND from the fund for the poor to support the family to buy materials to rebuild the house. Division 324 assigned officers and soldiers of Regiment 1 to provide support in working days.

This is a meaningful project of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 Command, the Party Committee of Division 324, the Command of Regiment 1 and local leaders for policy families, poor households and parishioners, thereby contributing to tightening the relationship between the army and the people.

On this occasion, Division 324 also presented 500 national flags to fishermen in Son Hai commune, to encourage fishermen to go offshore, stick to the sea, exploit seafood, develop family economy and contribute to protecting the sovereignty and security of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
