The first Ford F-150 Raptor full-size pickup truck arrives in Vietnam

Not officially distributed by Ford Vietnam, this 2017 F-150 Raptor was imported from the US by an auto dealer, following the order of a customer in Ho Chi Minh City.

The first Ford F-150 Raptor 2017 in Vietnam has a blue exterior paint color, belongs to the double cabin version - Super Crew. In addition, in the US market, this model also has a single cabin version - Super Cab. Previously, the F-150 Raptor 2017 was introduced to the market by Ford in 2015, but it was not until 2016 that the American car brand officially announced the selling price for the F-150 Raptor 2017. In the "land of the flag", this model costs from 53,000 USD, but when equipped with additional technology utility options, the selling price of the Ford F-150 Raptor Super Crew version is up to 70,000 USD. Currently, the selling price of the Ford F-150 Raptor 2017 after arriving in Vietnam has not been announced.

In the style of a large "super pickup" model, the 2017 F-150 Raptor has a powerful, rugged appearance. The overall dimensions of the vehicle are up to 5,638 x 2,192 x 1,994 (mm) in length, width, height, and an unladen weight of 2,540 kg. The exterior stands out with an 8-sided grille, large headlights with integrated LED lights, and 17-inch wheels.

To match the appearance, the 2017 F-150 Raptor is equipped with a 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 engine. This engine produces 450 horsepower, maximum torque of 692 Nm combined with a new 10-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive. This power is combined with the Terrain Management System, including 6 driving mode options such as: Normal, Street, Baja or Rock, Mud/Sand or Weather (weather such as rain, snow and ice). Previously, according to the manufacturer's announcement, the suspension system of the 2017 F-150 Raptor was upgraded with the use of Fox Racing sports shock absorbers.

The interior of the 2017 F-150 Raptor that has just been imported to Vietnam is black. This model is equipped with the 802A technology package, with features such as: 10-way power driver's seat, 360-degree camera, SYNC 3 infotainment system, navigation system... Safety features on the F-150 Raptor include: lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist, reverse assist when there is a trailer behind, automatic headlights...
