Bus falls into river in Peru, 30 people killed

On the morning of June 19, at least 30 people were killed in a bus accident in central Peru.

According to Peruvian officials, the bus carrying 52 tourists on its way to Satipo crashed into a ravine and fell into the Tarma River in the Chanchamayo region. Nine passengers are still missing.

Rescue operations have been launched but are facing difficulties due to heavy rain in the area where the accident occurred. According to preliminary information, the lack of traffic signals may have been the cause of the accident./.
