Northeast bus lost control, hit motorbike taxi driver, killed

(Baonghean.vn) - A bus was traveling on the road when it lost control and crashed straight into an electric pole and a motorbike taxi driver, killing him.

The accident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on July 16 on National Highway 1A, passing Yen Ly Bridge, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District.

At the above time, the Dong Bac bus with license plate 37B-017.48 was traveling in the direction of Vinh - Hoang Mai town. When reaching Yen Ly bridge, due to losing control of the steering wheel, the bus veered to the left side of the road, hitting straight into an electric pole and Mr. Le Duc Thanh (born in 1969), residing in hamlet 9, Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, a motorbike taxi driver standing there picking up passengers.

The strong collision caused Mr. Thanh to be thrown into the river. He was brought to shore by local people shortly afterwards but died.

At the scene, the victim’s motorbike was under the bus, the electric pole was broken, and the front of the bus was severely damaged. Fortunately, there were no passengers on the bus at the time.

Upon receiving the news, the Dien Chau District Traffic Police quickly arrived to investigate the cause of the incident./.
