Sand truck overturned, National Highway 1A paralyzed for hours
(Baonghean.vn) -The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on May 30 on National Highway 1A, passing through Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district.
Truck with license plate 37C-023.72 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling in the South-North direction. When reaching the above location, it lost control and crashed into truck with license plate 75K-3319 traveling in the opposite direction, then flipped over on National Highway 1A, spilling sand onto the road, paralyzing traffic for many hours. Fortunately, the accident only slightly injured the driver of the sand truck.
At 7pm the same day the route was still not cleared. Traffic jam stretched for more than 5km.
