Worker transport vehicle overturned, 10 workers injured
A vehicle carrying 40 workers had a technical problem and crashed into the curb, injuring 10 workers, 5 of whom were seriously injured.
At about 6:20 a.m. on May 11, a 50-seat passenger van with license plate 62B-140.32 driven by Ngo Cong Binh was carrying 40 workers on National Highway 62 (from Kien Tuong town to Tan An city, Long An province).

When reaching Km27, in Thuy Tay commune, Thanh Hoa district, Long An province, the car suddenly had a technical problem, crashed into the curb and flipped over.
The incident caused 40 workers in the car to panic and call for help and escape on their own. 10 injured workers were taken to the 2 nearest hospitals for emergency treatment, of which 5 were seriously injured.
Traffic police of Thanh Hoa district were present at the scene to investigate the cause.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tao - Chairman of Thanh Hoa District People's Committee, the People's Committee has directed the Traffic Police to quickly clarify the cause of the accident.
In the immediate future, the District People's Committee will send a delegation to visit the victims and provide each injured person with an initial support of 500,000 VND/person.
