Rock truck overturned on National Highway 1A

(Baonghean.vn) - At about 1:30 p.m. on October 4, a truck carrying rocks on National Highway 1A, reaching Dien Trung commune (Dien Chau district), overturned on the road, the driver escaped death.

Initial information, at the above time, the truck with license plate 37H-9815 (driver's identity unknown) was driving on National Highway 1A in the North-South direction.

Accident scene

When arriving at Hamlet 6, Dien Trung Commune (Dien Chau District), to avoid a car coming in the same direction, the truck driver swerved to the left and right of the road. Due to not being in control of the steering wheel, the truck crashed straight into the median strip and flipped over on National Highway 1A. Many road users were shocked when the truck suddenly fell in the middle of the road.

At the scene, the truck carrying rocks blocked half of National Highway 1A. The median strip and traffic signs were crushed by the truck. The front of the truck was severely damaged, the front axle was broken off. Small rocks were scattered all over the road. Luckily, both the driver and the assistant driver escaped unharmed.

At 5:30 p.m. on October 4, the rescue vehicle towed the damaged vehicle out of the scene, ensuring smooth traffic on National Highway 1A again.
