Farm vehicle accident, 1 boy died

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 7:00 a.m. on November 17, in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, a traffic accident occurred, killing a 5-year-old boy.

According to people who witnessed the accident, at the time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (residing in Hamlet 6, Quynh Van Commune) was taking her 5-year-old son, Ho Van Viet, to school. When they were almost there, Ms. Phuong stopped the car to go into a grocery store to buy things, while Viet sat on the motorbike waiting for his mother. At that moment, a tractor carrying sand from National Highway 1A hit Viet. As a result, Viet was run over by the tractor and died.

Relatives held a funeral for the victim.

After the incident, people took the child to Quynh Luu District General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to severe injuries, the child died.

It is known that Viet is currently studying in the 5-year-old kindergarten class at Quynh Van Kindergarten.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
