Container truck crashes through median strip, falls on pickup truck, National Highway 1A is congested
(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling on National Highway 1A, a container truck suddenly avoided pedestrians, swerved to the left, blew away 10 meters of the hard median strip, then flipped over and crushed a pickup truck going in the opposite direction, causing severe damage to both vehicles.
The accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon (January 16) on National Highway 1A in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district.

Accordingly, at the above time, the container truck with license plate 77C - 158.28 carrying fruit was traveling from South to North when it reached the above location and avoided a motorbike running at high speed, lost control and veered to the left of the opposite lane. After that, the container truck continued to push through about 10m of the hard median and overturned in the middle of the lane, crushing the oncoming pickup truck with license plate 37C - 25739, causing serious damage to the vehicle. The accident caused serious traffic congestion in both directions.
Fortunately, the two drivers were only injured and the other road users escaped unharmed.

After the accident, dozens of tons of mangoes from the container truck fell onto the road; people living on both sides of the road quickly came to the scene to help the driver collect the mangoes.
Upon receiving the information, traffic police of Quynh Luu district were also present to handle the incident and regulate traffic.
