Mr. Nguyen Duc Tu - Head of Bac Vinh Bus Station said: Currently, there are about 40 vehicles departing from the station to districts within the province. Although passenger transport vehicles have been allowed to operate since this morning, due to concerns about the epidemic, no vehicles have made departure orders.

"Because there are no departing vehicles, the Bac Vinh Bus Station Management Board currently only maintains security forces on duty, and only opens one entrance gate. Only when transport units register to complete departure procedures will we arrange people to serve them," Mr. Tu added.

Different from the deserted scene at Bac Vinh Bus Station, this morning, freight vehicles have returned to operation at Cho Vinh Bus Station, quite busy.

After Vinh City removed the blockade checkpoints (leaving only 4 checkpoints), vehicles were allowed to operate at Vinh Market Bus Station.

Mr. Le Van Khuyen, Head of Vinh Market Bus Station, said: Due to the high demand for loading and unloading goods, despite the unfavorable weather, the number of people and vehicles entering and exiting to transport goods is still very busy.

Currently, even though it is the epidemic season, on average, there are still more than 100 trucks coming to load goods every day, the busiest time is from 9am to 2pm, when goods from Vinh market area are transported here to be loaded onto trucks to be sent to districts in the province and to Huong Khe, Huong Son, Ky Anh districts (Ha Tinh) and some districts in Quang Binh.
