Car caught fire while running on the road

(Baonghean.vn) - A 4-seater car suddenly caught fire while driving on the road. The driver quickly stopped on the side of the road and jumped out to put out the fire. However, not long after, the car was completely burned down.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on May 18 on Provincial Road 533, passing through Tho Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.

The car was completely burned down.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Linh (the owner of the car), residing in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, at the above time, he was driving a Lacetti BSK 37B1 - 02.024 car from his house to Dien Chau. After a while, the car suddenly started smoking in front.

Seeing that, he immediately pulled the car to the side of the road and called for help from the people. However, due to lack of timely fire fighting equipment, the fire spread so quickly that not long after, the car was completely burned down, leaving only the frame.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties. The cause is currently under investigation by the authorities.
