Car and motorbike collided, both uncle and nephew died

(Baonghean.vn) -At about 9:10 p.m. on November 3, on the road from Quynh Yen commune to National Highway 1A in hamlet 10, Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred, killing 2 people.

The car with license plate 37A - 04.199, driven by a man, was traveling from Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu district to National Highway 1A. When the car reached the above location, it crashed into a motorbike with license plate 37B1 - 368.83 driven by an uncle and nephew from Nghia Dan district (Nghe An) traveling in the opposite direction. Both uncle and nephew were killed. The motorbike was thrown far away and severely damaged, while the car had all its left lights broken and the front windshield broken. After the accident, the car driver fled.

According to Mr. Tran Van Hoang, a resident living near the accident site, “While we were in the house, we heard a loud collision between a car and a motorbike. I and some people ran out and saw the motorbike thrown into the middle of the road with many pieces of debris. Everyone searched and discovered a young man who had stopped breathing. A while later, we discovered an older man who had been thrown into the field in critical condition. People took the injured man to the hospital for emergency care, but he stopped breathing on the way.”

An elderly man said: The two people who died were an uncle and nephew from Quynh Hau commune, who were on their way back from a wedding in Quynh Hau commune when they got into an accident.

The day after the serious accident occurred, lQuynh Luu District Traffic Police arrived at the scene promptly to investigate the cause of the accident and direct traffic to avoid traffic jams.
