Truck runs over and kills student.
(Baonghean)On his way to university entrance exam preparation class, a student was run over and killed instantly by a truck traveling in the same direction.
At approximately 3:50 PM on June 22nd, Le Thi Trang (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 4, Nghi An Commune (Nghi Loc District), was cycling to Vinh City to attend her university entrance exam preparation class as usual when she had an accident.
While traveling on National Highway 1A, at Km 455, in the section passing through Hamlet 5, Nghi Lien Commune (Vinh City), a truck with license plate 37C 00.958, traveling in the same direction, struck Trang, resulting in her immediate death. The initial cause of the accident was that the driver was operating the vehicle at high speed, lost control, and veered onto the sidewalk intended for pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles.
It is known that this stretch of road frequently experiences serious traffic accidents due to its narrow roadbed and shoulders.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the police arrived promptly to verify and investigate the event and manage the traffic congestion.
