(Baonghean.vn) -At about 5:30 this morning (May 16), a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu. The cause was a reckless truck driver who caused the accident and then smeared mud on the license plate to conceal the identity of the vehicle and the driver.
At the above time, the truck was traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh at high speed, crossed the road and lightly collided with a truck going in the opposite direction, then overturned into a field at km 401 + 150.

A resident who lives near the accident site said: “Before the accident, we saw a truck coming from Hoang Mai at high speed, veering to the left side of the road and hitting a truck going in the opposite direction before flipping into a field. Seeing his car being hit, the driver of the opposite direction stopped to check and found that the car’s mirrors and glass were broken, but the driver continued driving to Hanoi.”
It is worth mentioning that after driving in the wrong direction and leaving, the driver who caused the accident got out of the cabin, quickly scooped mud to cover the license plate, and resolutely refused to let the press take pictures or provide the driver's identity. Seeing the driver's violation, many people called the authorities to report it.
