Truck hits motorbike, one woman dies

(Baonghean.vn) -At around 4:40 p.m. on November 24, in Block 2 of Cau Giat Town (Quynh Luu, Nghe An), a serious traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, resulting in the death of a woman.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet (born in 1965, residing in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu) was riding a motorbike with license plate number 37H7-8969 on National Highway 1A, heading from Hanoi to Vinh. At km 404 + 500, a truck (license plate number 34C 02197, driver's identity unknown) was suddenly trying to overtake her, hitting her motorbike, causing Ms. Nguyet to fall onto the road. The rear wheel of the car rolled over her and she died on the way to the emergency room.

Just ten days earlier, the victim's niece had also died in a traffic accident at Cau Giat intersection, 50 meters from her home.
