Truck overturned into field, 6 people escaped death

(Baonghean.vn) - The accident happened at around 3am on May 13, a truck with a Lao license plate (driver's name unknown) was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh - Vinh trail, just past Ro bridge (Ngoc Son - Thanh Chuong) when it crashed straight into a rice field right at the bridge intersection.

There were 6 people and 4 tons of corn on the bus. The driver broke his arm and was taken to the hospital, the remaining 5 people were lucky to escape. A bus assistant was shocked and said: “At that time, it was dark, there were no street lights, no railings, just after crossing the bridge, the driver lost direction and crashed straight into the field. All the corn we bought and brought to Vinh City to import was scattered in the rice field.”
