Watch the B-2 stealth fighter flap its wings
The impressive video of the B-2 stealth bomber performing a wing flap test on June 14, 1995 is still extremely attractive for many reasons.
According to Business Insider, all aircraft wings have the ability to flex, but one of the biggest changes in aircraft technology over the past three decades has been the addition of composite materials, especially carbon fiber, to aircraft structural design.

In many cases, these composites have replaced alloys in structural parts on modern aircraft.
The B-2 Spirit is now made of nearly 80 percent composites, mostly carbon fiber. Some of the B-2's internal structural frames, especially where the wings sweep toward the fuselage and where the largest fuel tanks are located, are made of titanium and aluminum.
