Consider awarding the title of Meritorious Artisan for intangible cultural heritage
Information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on August 12 said that the Ministry has issued a Plan to consider awarding the title of "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage for the first time - in 2015.

The Ministry will submit to the Prime Minister a proposal to the President to award the title of "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage for the first time - 2015.
The provincial council is established by the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally-run city to review and select applications from individuals requesting the title of "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage, and send them to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The departments will receive the application documents for consideration no later than September 30, 2014; the actual consideration period is from August 30 to December 25, 2014. Then, the Provincial Council will send the documents to the Ministry-level specialized Council no later than December 25, 2014 (based on the postmark).
The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall establish a Ministry-level specialized council to review and select the applications proposed by the Provincial Council. The implementation period is from December 25, 2014 to April 30, 2015. The Ministry-level specialized council shall submit the applications to the State-level council, no later than April 30, 2015.
The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism will submit to the Prime Minister the establishment of a State Council to select the title of “Excellent Artisan” proposed by the Ministry-level specialized Council. The standing body of the State Council is the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The State Council uses the seal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The implementation period is from April 30, 2015 to June 30, 2015.
The selection results of the State Council will be publicly posted on the Government's electronic information portal (chinhphu.vn) and the electronic information portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (bvhttdl.gov.vn) after the State Council meets.
The ceremony to announce the decision and award the title of "Meritorious Artisan" will be held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism after the President's Decision.
