Recruitment of civil servants under the attraction program of Nghe An province 2014
(Baonghean) - On the morning of August 19, in Vinh City, the Provincial Civil Servant Recruitment Council held a meeting to give opinions on reviewing the application files of candidates for civil servant recruitment into attractive positions in Nghe An province in 2014. Implementing Decision No. 57/2013/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on policies to attract high-quality human resources and prioritize recruitment of civil servants and public employees, after publicly announcing the quotas according to regulations, the province received 412 applications (the actual number of people submitting applications was 198 people), to recruit 150 quotas, of which the Department of Finance had the most applications with 84 applications to recruit 4 quotas, the Department of Planning and Investment had 44 applications to recruit 3 quotas, the Department of Industry and Trade had 76 applications to recruit 9 quotas, Vinh City People's Committee had 37 applications to recruit 4 quotas...

At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs approved the preliminary list of candidates for consideration so that representatives of departments and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns could comment. Comrade Le Xuan Dai requested that departments and branches give their opinions on each candidate as well as the list of candidates.
The departments said that it is necessary to soon consider amending Decision 57/QD-UBND to suit the new recruitment requirements, because in some cases, foreign degrees are not classified and not scored; the recruiting agency needs to be more proactive in selecting candidates suitable for the job position in demand (male or female)...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Xuan Dai said that the province is in great need of high-quality human resources and this is the first time this method has been implemented, so although some cases have not been specifically regulated in Decision 57, the province boldly included them in this recruitment process. In the spirit of working objectively and fairly, out of 405 qualified applications, the Council selected 69 expected successful applications, most of which were highly unanimous; agreed with some opinions to continue considering some cases to amend Decision 57/QD-UBND; publicly announced the list of recruited candidates, if the official candidate does not come to work, the next candidate will be called.
