In the document of the Ministry of Education and Training, it is clearly stated that at point b, clause 1, Article 33 of the Regulations on regular university and college admissions, it stipulates that university and college admissions are for candidates who are ethnic minorities and candidates with permanent residence for 3 years or more up to the date of application submission in poor districts as prescribed in Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP. If they study the last 3 years of high school and graduate from high school in these districts, the principals of the schools will consider and decide on admission.

Accordingly, candidates studying at ethnic boarding schools with registered residence in 62 poor districts or previously registered residence in 62 poor districts and now have transferred their registered residence to the locality where the ethnic boarding school is located are all subject to priority admission as stipulated in Point b, Clause 1, Article 33 of the Regulations on regular university and college admission.

School principals review and decide on additional admissions according to regulations and based on the academic performance of candidates admitted to the school. The principal decides on additional learning.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to implement the selection process for candidates from 62 poor districts and students from ethnic minority boarding schools according to the above instructions. If there are any difficulties or problems during the implementation process, please report them to the Ministry of Education and Training for timely handling.
