This season, SLNA has recruited some "super" foreign players. Among them, striker Kavin, a Jamaican player, stands out. With skillful techniques and good health, Kavin's moves make Nghe An fans ecstatic every time he plays. Nghe An Newspaper reporter had a short interview with Kavin on the sidelines of the training ground.

PV: What do you expect most when coming to Vietnam to compete?

Kavin: When I came to play in Vietnam, what I wanted most was to integrate into the Song Lam Nghe An team and compete to achieve the highest results, scoring goals every time I entered the match to meet the expectations of the fans.

PV: How is Vietnamese football different from Jamaica's?

Kavin: Compared to Vietnam, Jamaican players have bigger bodies, stronger playing styles, better coordination and execution of the coach's tactics, and more passing. Vietnamese players are fast and intelligent but have weak bodies and stamina. Jamaican and Vietnamese football both have close, fast playing styles.

PV: How do you feel about working at Song Lam?

Kavin: Up to now, I feel satisfied. The relationship between me and the coaching staff and the players in the team is very good.

PV: Do you find it difficult due to cultural differences?

Kavin: There are differences, but this doesn't affect me because there is a lot of time for training and competing, so I easily forget about other problems.

PV: You just arrived but you can already speak a lot of Vietnamese. What is the secret that helps you learn so quickly?

Kavin: Well, luckily in the team there is Mr. Le, Mr. Quan, the translator, Ngoc Anh, the son of Mr. Thanh, the Director, who are enthusiastic in helping me learn Vietnamese. In addition, I also try to study anytime, anywhere to integrate with the players in the team.

PV: Do you like any other sports besides football?

Kavin: I love playing basketball. In Jamaica, I often go to the basketball court in my free time.

PV: Where do you often go for entertainment in Nghe An?

Kavin: Outside of training and competition, when I am in Vinh, I often go to Big C supermarket, it is crowded, I can shop and eat at the same time. Sometimes I also go to coffee shops with my teammates.

PV: Do you like the food in Nghe An?

Kavin: Yes, the food in Nghe An is very delicious.

PV: Thank you Kavin, I wish you always score goals every time you play and win with Song Lam.

Kavin: Thank you, let me say hello to Nghe An fans!
