This season, SLNA has recruited some "super" foreign players. Among them, striker Kavin, a Jamaican national team player, stands out. With skillful techniques and good health, every time he plays, Kavin's moves fascinate Nghe An fans. Nghe An Newspaper reporter had a short interview with Kavin on the sidelines of the training ground.

PV: What do you expect most when coming to Vietnam to compete?

Kavin: When I came to play in Vietnam, what I wanted most was to integrate with the Song Lam Nghe An team and compete to achieve the highest results, scoring goals every time I entered a match to meet the expectations of the fans.

PV: How is Vietnamese football different from Jamaican football?

Kavin: Compared to Vietnam, Jamaican players have strong bodies, strong playing style, better coordination and execution of the coach's tactics, and more passing. Vietnamese players are fast and intelligent but still have weak bodies and stamina. Jamaican and Vietnamese football both have a close, fast playing style.

PV: How do you feel working at Song Lam?

Kavin: Up to now, I am satisfied. The relationship between me and the coaching staff and the players in the team is very good.

PV: Do you feel difficulty due to cultural differences?

Kavin: There are differences, but this doesn't affect me because there is a lot of time for training and competing so I easily forget about other problems.

PV: You just arrived but can already speak a lot of Vietnamese. What is the secret to helping you learn so quickly?

Kavin: Well, luckily in the team there is Mr. Le, Mr. Quan the translator, Ngoc Anh, son of Mr. Thanh the Director, who are enthusiastic in helping me learn Vietnamese. In addition, I also try to study anytime, anywhere to integrate with the players in the team.

PV: Do you like any other sports besides football?

Kavin: I love playing basketball. In Jamaica, in my free time, I often go to the basketball court.

PV: Where do you often go for entertainment in Nghe An?

Kavin: Outside of training and competition, when I am in Vinh I often go to Big C supermarket, it is crowded, I can shop and eat at the same time. Sometimes I also go to coffee shops with my teammates.

PV: Do you like the food in Nghe An?

Kavin: Yes, the food in Nghe An is very delicious.

PV: Thank you Kavin, I wish you always score goals every time you play and win with Song Lam.
