Eliminate "black spots" of railway accidents in Nghi Kim

At these locations, tents, shops, and construction sites are located close together. People casually place their household items and frequently dump garbage onto the railway, clogging the drainage system. Although the Transport Department, the Railway Company, and authorities at all levels have organized the clearance of the railway traffic safety corridor since 1997, the re-encroachment situation has not been completely resolved.
Many kiosks blatantly violate and encroach on the railway traffic safety corridor in Nghi Kim commune - Vinh city.
Mr. Tran Ba Ha - Deputy Director of Nghe Tinh Railway Management One Member Co., Ltd. said: "In order to implement the 2012 Traffic Safety Year, the Company has worked with Nghe An Department of Transport to discuss the plan to clear violations of the railway traffic safety corridor according to Decision 1856/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and reached an agreement on the plan to clear violations of the railway traffic safety corridor in the province. In which, Nghi Kim commune is chosen as a pilot to direct, thereby gaining experience to replicate throughout the province with the spirit of resolutely clearing the encroachment of the railway traffic safety corridor. Step one is to clear violations encroachment 5m from the foot of the embankment. Step two will organize to review statistics, count, and compensate points 6-15m from the foot of the embankment, depending on the specific situation of each point affecting railway traffic to carry out the clearance".
According to the Company's leaders, after the clearance, the Company closely coordinated with the local authorities to prevent re-encroachment, and to eliminate the "black spots" of railway accidents in Nghi Kim.
