Xong Ba Cha speaks well and does well.
(Baonghean) - From Kim Son Town (Que Phong), we crossed the misty Pu Chong Cha to visit the family of the village chief Xong Ba Cha of village D1, Minh Chau Economic Zone, Tri Le commune. The house was deserted. The chickens chirped for food and the buffaloes and cows clattered on the edge of the forest. The neighbor shouted: "They haven't come home yet, their family has a lot of work, they've been working all day."

It was not until dusk that the sound of a motorbike and the headlight of the host came home. After shaking hands and introducing, Xong Ba Cha invited the guests into the house and explained: I wanted to go home early, but many people kept asking me how to grow sugarcane, raise chickens... So I had to stay and explain in detail to the people. It was just discovered that the "good news" had "spread far and wide" from village to village about Xong Ba Cha, 31 years old this year - the youngest Mong person in Minh Chau, who had a good head for thinking of ways to do business.
By the charcoal stove, Xong Ba Cha confided: In 2003, thanks to the Party and State's support, the Mong people of Huoi Moi 2 village went down the mountain to establish a new village in Minh Chau Economic Zone. Coming here, the Mong children have the opportunity to learn and know how to do business. Thanks to that, I was able to study and graduate from Nghe An Pedagogical College. After finishing my studies and returning to the village, while waiting for a job, I was admitted to the Party and was elected as the village chief by the people, then joined the Standing Committee of the Commune Cultural Front.
To escape poverty, with the help and guidance of cadres on new ways of doing business, my wife and I, regardless of the difficulties, reclaimed 1 hectare of land for sugarcane, 1,000 square meters of passion fruit and planted more than 600 peach trees day and night, earning an average income of more than 20 million VND/year. People saw that we worked hard to make a living and prosper, so they came to learn from our experience. I both guided and mobilized 66 households in the village to establish a cooperative, actively reclaimed rice fields, applied scientific and technical advances in growing rice, corn, sugarcane, and passion fruit... Up to now, many households have had enough to eat and save, many families have bought motorbikes, invested in sending their children to school...
The old concept of the Mong people is that having many children and having a son is good, but with Xong Ba Cha being educated, his perception has changed. He believes that "whether girl or boy, 2 is enough", so he should apply good contraceptive methods to have the conditions to invest in his children's education, implement well the standards of a Cultural Family, be exemplary in implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws and actively participate in local emulation movements such as the Mass movement to protect national security.
In addition, to preserve the culture and identity of the Mong people, Xong Ba Cha actively promotes and organizes panpipe dancing performances, selects good panpipe dancing teams to participate in the Nine-Chamber Temple Festival organized by the district every year. Another thing that Xong Ba Cha has done is that he has promoted to the people a new way of life, eating cooked food and drinking boiled water, abandoning backward customs, and going to the station for examination when sick, contributing to the fact that D1 village has not had an epidemic for many years. Xong Ba Cha's family in particular has been a typical cultural family of the province for many years.
