(Baonghean.vn) - Since the 6th day of the Lunar New Year, workers at the Hop Tien shipbuilding facility in Quynh Lap (Hoang Mai Town) have been working hard with axes and hammers to build new large ships for fishermen to go offshore.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nho, Vice Chairman of Quynh Lap Commune People's Committee, said: The commune has 2 large shipbuilding facilities owned by Mr. Tran Dinh Anh and Mr. Tran Dinh Tho, each year building over 10 large boats from 450 - 1,000 CV. These 2 facilities create jobs for over 60 workers with stable salaries of 7 - 8 million VND/person/month. In addition to building new ones, these 2 facilities also repair and maintain hundreds of boats each year.

The new ship of Mr. Ho Si Dai, Quynh Lap commune, was ordered to be built at Mr. Tran Dinh Tho's facility with a capacity of 822 CV, worth 12.3 billion VND, and is currently 80% complete. |
