Handling 30 cases of traffic safety violations on military enlistment day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 25, Nghi Loc district held a ceremony to hand over and receive 170 young men to join the army. A large number of people from communes and towns gathered at the district stadium to see off the soldiers, including many young men who violated traffic safety regulations.

Nghi Loc District Police mobilized traffic police forces to be present at the military transfer and reception area to resolutely handle cases of non-compliance with traffic safety regulations.

Here, the authorities discovered and recorded 30 cases of drivers and passengers of motorbikes participating in traffic without wearing helmets. After checking, there were 26 cases of violations such as not having vehicle registration papers, not having a driver's license and having their vehicles temporarily impounded. The remaining four cases were fined on the spot and had their vehicle documents temporarily impounded.
