Handling 8 vehicles using electric shock to exploit seafood

(Baonghean) -On October 23, the fishing control ship 93969 KN coordinated with Border Guard Station 148 - Nghe An Border Guard to inspect fishing vessels in the northern waters of Nghe An. The working group discovered and arrested 8 vessels using electric shock to fish and seafood.

Upon inspection, the 8 vehicle owners all resided in Hai Ha commune (Tinh Gia - Thanh Hoa). All of these vehicles had violations such as: No fishing license, no identification papers, no registration on board, no captain or chief engineer license, using electric shock to fish, etc.

The inspection team handed over the owners of the violating vessels and boats to Border Guard Station 148 for handling according to the law. At the time of the inspection, in the fishing grounds in the North of Nghe An province, there were still about 200 vessels illegally exploiting aquatic products.
