Disciplinary action against party members violating population policy
(Baonghean) - The Politburo has just issued a decision to supplement and amend Article 7, Regulation No. 94 - QD/TW, dated October 15, 2007 of the Politburo (10th tenure) on disciplinary action against Party members who violate the Population and Family Planning Policy. Accordingly, the Decision clearly states:
Article 1:Supplement and amend Article 7, Regulation No. 94-QD/TW, dated October 15, 2007 of the Politburo (10th tenure) on disciplinary action against party members who violate population and family planning policies, as follows:
1. Violating one of the following cases causing less serious consequences or violating in the case of having a third child (except in cases where the law provides otherwise) shall be disciplined in the form of a reprimand:
a) Obstructing or forcing the implementation of family planning;
b) Manufacturing, trading, importing, and supplying counterfeit contraceptives that do not meet quality standards, are expired, or are not yet permitted for circulation and use in Vietnam.
2. In case of violations that have been disciplined according to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article and are repeated or first-time violations but cause serious consequences, or violations in the case of giving birth to a fourth child (except in cases where the law provides otherwise), the disciplinary action shall be in the form of warning or dismissal from office (if holding a position).
3. In case of violating the provisions in Clause 1 and Clause 2 of this Article, causing very serious consequences or violating in case of giving birth to the fifth child or more, the disciplinary action shall be in the form of expulsion.
Article 2.This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
For cases that have been previously disciplined for violating the Population and Family Planning Policy, they will not be reconsidered.
Party committees, party organizations and party members are responsible for implementing this Decision.
