Concluding at the 2014 year-end conference and 2015 mission orientation of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, Chairman of the Committee, said: To ensure absolute aviation security and safety in 2015 and the following years, the entire aviation industry must continue to raise awareness of the work of ensuring absolute aviation security and safety, tighten discipline in aviation transportation; continue to maintain aviation security and safety, consider this a national brand and prevent aviation accidents. Build a regular, modern, professional, safe and effective aviation industry.
In addition, review, rectify and eliminate factors that threaten aviation security and safety; clearly define responsibilities, especially the responsibilities of the head and deputy in charge, resolutely handle the responsibility of the head if there are violations, threats to aviation security and safety, and strictly handle violations.
Raise awareness and responsibility of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the aviation industry and related fields; further strengthen the responsibility for coordination when performing tasks at all stages of ensuring aviation security and safety such as implementing aircraft technical inspection procedures, security and safety supervision; managing, exploiting and operating flight operations. Promote propaganda and education on aviation security and safety laws with rich content and diverse forms to raise awareness.
Strengthen effective coordination between aviation security forces, police, and military in implementing aviation security work. Continue to strengthen and perfect the National Aviation Emergency Command Board, the Provincial and Municipal Aviation Emergency Command Boards, identify the responsibilities of each force, perfect the handling process, coordination, and cooperation between forces; regularly organize drills, training, and draw experience from drills to improve the organization and perfect the handling process.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Transport to strengthen state management, step up inspection and cross-inspection; organize direct supervision at airports to improve the quality of transportation services, ensure aviation security and safety, and ensure the legitimate rights of passengers. Direct the completion of technical infrastructure systems, means and equipment to ensure aviation security.
