The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a document requesting key enterprises trading in gasoline and oil to ensure timely and sufficient supply of quantity and types of gasoline and oil to their entire distribution system (including general agents, agents, and retail stores).

At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also requires businesses to stabilize the minimum reserve level of gasoline and oil in terms of both quantity and type structure.


The Department of Industry and Trade of provinces and centrally-run cities shall direct petrol and oil trading enterprises with retail stores in the area to meet local consumption needs; direct the market management department to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, departments and branches to strengthen market inspection and control, focusing on checking the actual situation of petrol and oil trading of enterprises and invoices and documents for purchase and sale of goods to detect violations of the law in petrol and oil trading.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires resolute handling of violations of the law on gasoline and oil trading, especially acts of hoarding, stopping sales without clear reasons, violations of subjects buying and selling gasoline and oil, violations of delivery and receipt of general agents, gasoline and oil trading agents, and violations of gasoline and oil reserves.


It is known that, according to the report of the Market Management Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, last week, the Market Management Department of Dong Nai province submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a fine of 25 million VND and revoked the right to use the Certificate of Eligibility for Petroleum Business for 3 months for 1 store due to stopping sales; the Market Management Department of Binh Duong province is also completing the documents to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to impose a fine on 1 violation.

According to statistics from the Market Management Department, since the beginning of the year, localities have revoked the right to use the Certificate of Eligibility for Petroleum Business of about 30 violating petroleum stores.
