Fined 70 million VND for 2 men driving a car with drugs in their system
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to sanction two individuals for administrative violations related to the act of driving on the road while having drugs in their body.
On April 5, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh signed a decision to administratively sanction Mr. HHL (born in 1984), residing in Tan Dan commune, Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh).
The penalty decision clearly stated that Mr. HHL committed an administrative violation: Driving a car with license plate 37H-017.61 towing a semi-trailer with license plate 38R-013.04 on the road while having drugs in his body.
Accordingly, Mr. HHL was fined VND 35 million; stipulated in Point c, Clause 10, Article 5 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020). At the same time, Mr. HHL had his driving license for class E, FC revoked for 23 months.
Previously, on April 3, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh also signed a Decision to administratively sanction Mr. NSH (born in 1981), residing in Xuan Hong commune, Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh) for similar violations.
Specifically, Mr. NSH drove a car with license plate 37E-00.63 on the road while having drugs in his body.
Accordingly, Mr. NSH was fined VND 35 million; stipulated in Point c, Clause 10, Article 5 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020). At the same time, his right to use a Class B2 car driving license was revoked for a period of 23 months.
