Fines for drivers using fake press cards and ANTV logos
The Road and Railway Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Police said it has just issued a decision to administratively fine driver Do Nguyen Phuong Lam (born in 1981, residing in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) for using a fake press card and attaching the logo of ANTV Television Station.
Tien Giang police determined that Lam used a fake press card and attached the ANTV Television logo and the "Press" sign on his car not for journalistic purposes but only to "scare" traffic police.
Therefore, the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Province issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of VND 700,000 and revoke the driver's license for 30 days; confiscate the lights and sirens illegally installed on the car with license plate: 51F-293.47.

As reported, at around 11pm on April 12, from a source of information from the people, on National Highway 1A there was a 7-seat car with license plate 51F-293.47 with suspicious signs, the car had a priority signal light installed and was traveling at high speed from the West to Ho Chi Minh City.
When the vehicle arrived at Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 2 under the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Province Police stopped the vehicle for inspection. Through a quick inspection of the vehicle, the authorities also discovered a press board and logo board of ANTV television station, and a logo board of Ho Chi Minh City Police placed on the windshield.

When invited to the police station for questioning, Lam confessed that he only drove a service vehicle, and a friend made the relevant documents for him to use on the road.
