At 1:00 a.m. on October 19,The center of the low pressure area is located at about 11.6-12.6 degrees North latitude; 117.0-117.5 degrees East longitude, about 370km East Northeast of Song Tu Tay Island.
Forecast for the next 24 hours,The low pressure area is moving mainly in the East-Northeast direction, traveling 5-10km per hour and is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression. At 01:00 on October 20, the center of the tropical depression was at about 12.8 degrees North latitude; 119.7 degrees East longitude, about 170km North-Northeast of Palawan Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6-7 (40-60km/hour), gusting to level 9.
