There is no story of bringing money into the storage room and then returning as Tran Hai Son stated."

Defendant Tran Hai Son answered his lawyer about giving his sister (Ms. Tran Thi Hai Ha) 2 billion VND: "After I received the amount of 1.666 million USD, when I gave my sister 2 billion, I did not say what the money was. When I went to Mr. Phuc's house, I saw many people so I said that there was something at home."

Responding to the lawyer about why the defendant gave money to Phuc before Dung, the defendant Son stated: “When I gave money to Phuc and Dung, I only remember the time and do not remember who gave it first or who later.”

Defendant Le Van Duong stated: "I have admitted that my actions were wrong. I am not qualified to fully evaluate whether this floating dock is good or bad. I hope the panel of judges will consider reducing my sentence. I did not receive any money from Son."
