Mr. Tho Ba Re - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district said: If it continues to rain in the coming days, the mountain crack in Xop Phe village will be at risk of spreading wider and deeper. Therefore, the district temporarily directed the local government to ask people not to return to their old place of residence, in the coming time, they will review the land in resettlement areas in the area to arrange new housing. The district has also sent people to monitor, assess the level of landslides and make plans to relocate more households if the affected area spreads further.
