Touching photo of one-month-old baby in late father's military uniform
The little girl lay neatly in her old military uniform, as if being held in the arms of her deceased father.

Brittany Harris received the news of her husband's death while she was six weeks pregnant. Cpink lady,Chris Harris,was a 25 year old American soldier and died inAfghanistan.
"I was devastated and felt like I had forgotten how to live without him,"TodayquoteBrittanyshare. "But I know, I carry his blood in me. That makes me stronger every morning when I wake up and take care of myself. My daughter makes me more determined, helps me stand up when I feel like giving up."
Chris never got a chance to hold her baby girl at birth, after being killed in a suicide bombing on August 2, 2017. Her husband was gone, butBrittany wants the father-daughter bond to last forever. The young mother arranged a touching photo shoot of her daughter,Christian Michelle Harris, with her military uniform, boots and American flag, mementos she was given at her home in the cityFayetteville, North Carolina, afterChris died.
"I want newborn pictures ofChristian showed patriotism, just like his father did. I want to preserve as much of Chris's spirit as possible,"Brittany said, "He really gave his all to the military and this country. I think nothing could be more fitting than having pictures of her and then when she grows up, she can look back and be proud."

The nameChristian was chosen for the daughterBrittany, as a wayin memory of my late father.
"When I saw those picturesfirst time, I burst into tears. I like the picture.Christian was wrapped in Chris's uniform. It made me feel like he was holding his daughter,"Brittany said.
LittleChristian was born last month. The moment he cried for the first time wasBrittanyreally touching. That happiness made her feel comforted in the pain of losing her husband.
"When Chris died, my heart stopped. But when my daughterThe first time Christian was placed on my chest, his heart was revived, beating even stronger than before.Brittany confided.
The single mother wants the memories of her father to live forever in her daughter's heart.
"I want my child to be proud and smile when talking about his father, instead of feeling sad. I want him to always brag to everyone about his father and his sacrifice."Brittany said.
