The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery (Anh Son town) is the resting place of more than 11,000 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese military experts who died in Laos. The Do Luong International Martyrs' Cemetery (Da Son commune, Do Luong district) is the resting place of nearly 2,400 martyrs who died for the cause of national liberation, defending the Fatherland and the noble international mission. On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), the international martyrs' cemeteries in the province have all been renovated and carefully cared for. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (66 years old), from Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district, shared: Today she came to Do Luong International Martyrs Cemetery to burn incense for her husband, martyr Bui Duc Dung, from Dang Son commune, Do Luong district, who died in 1977 in Cambodia.
