Touching letters and gifts from Nghe An children sent to quarantine areas
(Baonghean.vn) - In the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, there are many touching stories about young boys and girls who used all their savings to support officers on duty and children in quarantine areas.
On the first day of welcoming people back to quarantine in Yen Thanh district, when hearing her mother's intention to buy protective gear to give to doctors in the quarantine area, little girl Ha Phuong (9 years old, student of Bac Thanh primary school) decided to break her piggy bank to save 2 million VND in lucky money to ask her mother to buy milk to send to soldiers and doctors in the quarantine area.
Ms. Phuong Thao was surprised by her daughter's thoughts. She confided: "Seeing her mother ordering protective gear to give to doctors, she said she would break the piggy bank to buy milk to nourish the doctors on duty. When they are tired from work, they will eat less rice, so they should drink more milk to stay healthy." Hearing her daughter say that, she was very happy because her daughter thought like an adult and knew how to share hardships with others.

Teacher Phan Hieu - a member of the Sao Xanh volunteer team in Yen Thanh district shared: as soon as he read the call for support, Nguyen Phuong Chi, a 5th grade student at Ha Huy Tap school, Vinh city, from Yen Thanh, wrote a letter with the amount of 144,000 VND asking him to transfer it to the doctors and nurses on duty. In the letter, he wrote "for me, nothing is more dangerous than the corona epidemic, so I am sending this amount of money to donate, although it is only 144,000 VND, it is my heart...".
In addition to Phuong Chi's letter, Duong Hong Bao An (3rd grade student, Yen Thanh town primary school) also wrote a handwritten letter and asked his mother to take him to Mr. Phan Hieu's house to ask him to give gifts to the uncles who were doing their hard work. His mother said: since she said she would take him to give gifts, he was extremely excited and urged her constantly. She also did not think her little son would be so excited.

As for Thai Duong and Luu Nhat (Yen Thanh town primary school), they took advantage of the days off from the epidemic to make 65 anti-foam helmets to give to the doctors and nurses directly on duty at the quarantine area. Looking at the pictures of the two young people carefully cutting and pasting and smiling when bringing the gift boxes to the quarantine area to give to the people on duty also made me happy.

20 gift packages are also the number that two children of teacher Nga - Bao Thanh kindergarten sent to the children. Ms. Nga confided: the two siblings personally bought packages of chips, jellies, comics, divided them equally, wrapped them carefully, and asked their mother to send them to the children with a message wishing them good health and peace during their time in the quarantine area.
Handwritten letters, gifts and small amounts of money are meaningful, showing gratitude to the staff who are working day and night in the quarantine area, and encouraging and sharing with the children in quarantine...
