In each revolutionary stage, Nghe An Police force always upholds the spirit of devotion, is ready to sacrifice for the Fatherland, takes the interests of the country and people as the ideal, the highest goal to strive for, devotes all their strength, intelligence and even their lives to protect the Party, the government, the socialist regime, and protect the peaceful and happy life of the people. Nghe An Police has contributed greatly to protecting the government when it first gained independence, achieved many feats, investigated and crushed reactionary organizations, espionage cases, serious criminal cases to protect the peaceful life of the people, many officers and soldiers of Nghe An Police volunteered to go to the South to fight, achieved many great feats, contributing to the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

Many heroes of the People's Armed Forces, war invalids, martyrs and generations of Nghe An Public Security officers have become exemplary role models, deeply trusted and forever immortal monuments in the hearts of the people. In recognition of the achievements over the past 70 years, the Party and State have awarded Nghe An Public Security with many orders, medals, rotating flags, the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; hundreds of collectives and individuals have been awarded Military Exploit, Exploit Medals of various ranks and many other noble awards, making the traditional flag of Nghe An Public Security more sparkling.

The common achievements of the Nghe An Provincial Police force are also the result of the coordination of departments, branches, unions, organizations in the political system, the attention, leadership and direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially the great support of all classes of people who have helped the provincial police force to excellently complete its tasks.

Promoting that glorious tradition, in recent years, Nghe An Provincial Police have actively and proactively advised the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to direct all levels, branches, armed forces and people in the province to effectively implement many measures to ensure security and order, and build a solid people's security posture. Proactively advising the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to direct the promotion of the movement of the entire people to protect national security in the direction of: "Self-defense, self-management, self-protection, self-reconciliation", in accordance with the characteristics and nature of the locality; focusing on building and firmly consolidating the grassroots political system; consolidating the great national unity bloc; taking care of solving social security issues; coordinating to promote the work of building movements according to specific topics and regions, such as borders, sea routes, areas with complicated criminal and drug issues; mobilizing and gaining support from prestigious people in the community; building and replicating many advanced models and examples; Timely commend and commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in movements; coordinate with departments, branches and organizations to effectively resolve many complicated cases of security and order. Concentrate forces to proactively and effectively combat all types of crimes and social evils, maintaining peace for the people. Our province is a large, rugged area, a key area for national security and defense, an important strategic area and one of the key areas of sabotage by hostile forces. Besides new opportunities and fortunes, we have to face many difficulties and fierce challenges of a regional and global nature, especially threats to national security and sovereignty, sabotage plots of hostile forces, and the development of non-traditional crimes that will give rise to many new complications... To successfully complete the task of ensuring national security and maintaining social order and safety in the new situation, our provincial Public Security force needs to pay attention to the following contents:

The victory of the cause of protecting national security over the past 70 years is also the victory of the people's war path led by our Party. The 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Public Security is an occasion to uphold the glorious and heroic tradition of the People's Public Security force, the "National Day for Protecting National Security", and also an occasion for us to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs of the People's Public Security who sacrificed for the nation's survival and for the peace of the people.
