After 5 years of working, he gained a lot of experience and solid skills. In 2009, he decided to open his own carpentry workshop. Initially, he borrowed 400 million VND from the bank with his brothers and friends to invest in building a workshop on an area of ​​nearly 150 square meters of his family's garden and buy machinery and raw materials for production.

With his ingenuity and quick grasp of consumer design needs through each stage, his products are favored by the market. In order to diversify his products, in early 2016, he invested 70 million VND to buy a machine to produce Window plastic-steel doors to replace poor quality wooden and aluminum doors.

Mr. Luong invested in purchasing more machinery to produce plastic doors.

Thanks to his dynamism and daring to think and do, his carpentry workshop has brought high economic efficiency, with an annual income of over 120 million VND. At the same time, it has created stable jobs for 3 local young workers with a salary of 7.5 million VND/person/month.

Not only is Nguyen Ngoc Luong good at economics, he is also enthusiastic about the union work. He regularly innovates the content and form of activities; actively organizes cultural, artistic, and sports activities to improve the rate and quality of union members and young people participating in activities; calls on union members in the locality to work abroad and in the country to raise funds to help the elderly, sick, and ill on holidays and Tet...

Every year, he calls on members of the Youth Union to help build new houses and repair houses for poor families in the commune; coordinate with the parish to organize a general environmental cleanup on roads in residential areas; and work with the Youth Union Executive Committee to develop a plan to build rafts and mobilize forces to evacuate people and their belongings to safety when the flood season comes. Thanks to that, the Youth Union has been rated by superiors as having completed its tasks excellently for many years in a row.
