Yen Thanh Children's Football Tournament Final 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - From August 10 to 15, Yen Thanh district successfully organized the final round of the 2015 District-wide Children's Football Tournament.

This year's tournament included 16 excellent teams selected from 8 groups of the qualifying round with 31 matches in the final round taking place in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere.

With the spirit of solidarity and honesty, many good matches were created, attracting thousands of spectators to watch and cheer. The highlight of this tournament is that the communes have selected the strongest teams, invested in training and strictly followed the tournament regulations. Typically, there are some communes such as: Xuan Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Phuc Thanh, Hop Thanh, Son Thanh, Tan Thanh, Nam Thanh, Bac Thanh...

At the end of the season, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Phuc Thanh Commune Children; the second prize to Xuan Thanh Commune; and the third prize to Hop Thanh and Nam Thanh Communes.

Scoring 14 goals against the opponent, young player Truong Van Tuyen (Xuan Thanh) was awarded the prize for the player with the most goals; player Tran Van Lich (Phuc Thanh) and goalkeeper Thai Duy Hieu (Xuan Thanh) were awarded the prize for the best player and goalkeeper of the tournament.

This is a traditional tournament organized annually by the district's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote the movement "Physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho", creating a useful playground for children in the summer; thereby discovering young football talents, selecting typical athletes for the district team, participating in competitions organized by the province./.
