Yen Thanh primary school English exchange finals

(Baonghean) -In order to practice English communication skills and improve the quality of foreign language learning in schools, creating a useful and interesting playground for primary school students, after a period of organizing competitions in clusters, on April 17, 2011, the Department of Education and Training of Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) organized the final round of the district-level English exchange for primary school, school year 2010-2011.

Participating in the English exchange final are 12 schools selected from clusters (each unit has 8-10 members), who must go through the following competitions: theory, aptitude test and group exchange between units.

Due to the focus on improving the quality of English learning in schools, the skills of listening, reading, writing and answering multiple choice questions as well as introducing the composition and talents of the group singing and dancing in English of the teams were all answered fluently, smoothly and in accordance with the content of the topic by the contestants.

As a result, the first prize went to Hau Thanh Primary School; 2 second prizes went to Thi Tran Primary School, Van Thanh Primary School; 3 schools: Cong Thanh Primary School No. 1, Lang Thanh Primary School, Hoa Thanh Primary School shared the third prize.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded individual prizes to the following students: Tran Thi Khanh Huyen (grade 5a, Hau Thanh Primary School) won first prize; Dao Phi Duong (grade 5b, Van Thanh Primary School) and Phan Nguyen Ba Loi (grade 5b, Town Primary School) won second prize.
