In 2015, Yen Thanh had 8 more relics recognized as national historical relics and provincial historical relics, raising the number of relics ranked in the district to 63, including 23 national relics and 40 provincial relics.

During the year, 32 more villages were recognized with the title of "Cultural Village", bringing the total number of cultural villages in the district to 299/496, reaching 60.2%; the rate of cultural families reached 84.5%.
