The Ca Temple was built during the Ly Dynasty, renovated and expanded during the Later Le Dynasty to worship the gods of fortune such as Ly Nhat Quang, Bach Y Princess, Phan Canh Quan... who were the ones who "protected the country and protected the people". Bao Lam Pagoda was built during the Pre-Le Dynasty, renovated and expanded during the Later Le Dynasty to worship Buddha and promote goodness.

Among the typical relics, the Ca Temple and Bao Lam Pagoda were built on sandy land, still preserving ancient architectural works with beautiful decorations and sculptures, and many valuable artifacts in history, culture, and art. After hundreds of years of existence, the Ca Temple - Bao Lam Pagoda is a place to pray for peace, blessings, fortune, and wealth, associated with the spiritual and cultural activities of the people. This is a work associated with the uprising of Nguyen Xuan On and Le Doan Nha in the Can Vuong movement; it is the revolutionary base of the Party during the struggle against French colonialism and a place to hide weapons and food for our army during the resistance war against the US.
The Temple still preserves many ancient architectural works.
The decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to recognize the Ca Temple - Bao Lam Pagoda relic as a national historical and cultural relic has affirmed the scientific and legal basis and the great values being preserved at the relic, while creating conditions for the protection and promotion of the relic in the short and long term.
