Yen Thanh: Nearly 35 thousand households get preferential electricity prices

Implementing Decision 268 dated February 23, 2011 of the Prime Minister on applying preferential electricity prices for poor households and low-income households, since the beginning of April 2011, Yen Thanh Electricity Branch has issued an official dispatch guiding households to complete registration procedures in a timely manner. Up to now, Yen Thanh has 34,936/64,146 customer households using preferential electricity prices, of which 14,986 poor households and low-income households use electricity through direct retail of the branch and 19,950 households use electricity through the Electricity Service Cooperative.
