Yen Thanh: Meeting with press agencies and artists in early spring of Quy Ty 2013
(Baonghean.vn)On the morning of February 23, the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district organized a meeting with journalists, artists in the district and press agencies in the province. The discussion was attended by over 120 journalists and collaborators.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi - Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee summarized some outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the district, and introduced some potentials and strengths of the district in economic development, tourism, and investment attraction. In 2012, the total economic value of the district reached 6,500 billion VND, average income per capita reached 15 million VND/person/year.
In the past year, Yen Thanh district has focused on building infrastructure such as transportation and power grid. The district is building to soon put into use a Vietnam-Japan garment factory to create jobs for over 2,000 workers; completing the detailed planning of the Rru Gam spiritual cultural relic site... The Chairman of the District People's Committee affirmed that the above achievements have a significant contribution from journalists. Yen Thanh District People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, the district will continue to strengthen the relationship with journalists to contribute to promoting the emulation movement of labor production and socio-economic development of the district to develop more and more.
