Yen Thanh: Meeting with journalists

(Baonghean.vn) On the occasion of Vietnam Poetry Day and the Lantern Festival, on the morning of February 5 (ie January 14, the year of the Dragon), the Yen Thanh District Party Committee and People's Committee organized a meeting with journalists and artists who are children in the district.

More than 50 children of journalists, collaborators, artists of the district who are working at the editorial offices of newspapers and magazines of the Central and local levels attended the meeting. At the meeting, the Chairman of the District People's Committee reported on the achievements of the district in recent years, the orientation for socio-economic development in 2012, emphasizing that journalists have made significant contributions to the development of the district in all fields, through press works. Many journalists and artists expressed their thoughts and aspirations for their homeland through their poems, music, plays, etc.

This is an annual meeting of the District Party Committee and People's Committee with journalists, artists, both professional and non-professional, at the beginning of the year, to create conditions for journalists who are children of Yen Thanh to meet, exchange experiences, as well as express the locality's thoughts and aspirations for those working in the press.
