Yen Thanh inaugurated a school sponsored by the Japanese government

(Baonghean) -On the morning of April 7, 2011, in Tay Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district, Nghe An), the inauguration ceremony of the commune secondary school was held with non-refundable aid from the Japanese government. Ms. Ka-du Conaryu Aa-ma, Secretary of the Economic Department of the Embassy of Japan in Hanoi attended.

After more than 12 months of construction, the 2-storey building was completed and put into use. The project has an area of ​​2,000 m2, including 10 classrooms and functional rooms, fully equipped with lighting and fans, the total value of the project is over 2.5 billion VND (of which the Japanese Government provides non-refundable support of 8,500 USD, equivalent to 1.6 billion VND), the rest is the local budget counterpart fund. With this number of classrooms, Tay Thanh Secondary School basically ensures 1 shift and has enough classrooms to merge schools in the near future.

On this occasion, cadres, party members, people, teachers and students of Tay Thanh commune also donated 10 million VND. The above amount was given directly by the commune leaders to Ms. Ka-du Conaryu A-ma to transfer to the Japanese people who suffered heavy damage from the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan.
