Yen Thanh: Traffic accident, child died

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 7:30 p.m. on September 6, on National Highway 7, passing through Khanh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, a serious traffic accident occurred, causing the death of a 3-year-old child.

According to initial information, at the above time, the motorbike with license plate: 39Z9 - 8638 driven by Mr. Dang Quang Hien (40 years old, residing in hamlet 11, Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) carrying his daughter Dang Thi Hoi (8 years old) and niece Dang Thi Hoai Thanh (3 years old) was running in the direction of Do Luong - Dien Chau. When arriving at the above location, it collided with the motorbike with license plate: 37Z1 - 6591 driven by a man running in the opposite direction.

The collision caused Thanh to be thrown onto the road. At the same time, a container truck with license plate 37C - 148.80 pulling a trailer 37 R - 00.903 traveling from Do Luong to Dien Chau ran over the child, causing him to die on the spot.

Accident scene

After causing the accident, the container truck driver fled the scene for about 300 meters before being stopped by local residents. Mr. Hien and his daughter were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital by local residents for emergency treatment.
