Yen Thanh implements the Provincial Party Committee's direction on purchasing and using party newspapers.

(Baonghean) -On August 22, 2012, Nghe An Newspaper published an article: "Yen Thanh has many "blank" party cells", in which the information was that in Yen Thanh, by the third quarter of 2012, there were still 142 party cells without Nghe An newspapers. After the newspaper published the article, on August 29, 2012, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1323-CV/TU. Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to preside over and direct the inspection of the issue raised by the newspaper and to have timely solutions. Then, on September 21, 2012, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department issued Official Dispatch No. 432-CV/TGTU directing the Yen Thanh District Party Committee to inspect the issue raised by the newspaper.

Receiving the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Yen Thanh District Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 10-CV/TG dated September 11, 2012 and Official Dispatch No. 511-CV/HU dated October 3, 2012 of Yen Thanh District Party Committee requesting grassroots party organizations to comply with Directive 11 of the Politburo and Directive of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on purchasing and using party newspapers; The District Party Committee also established an inspection team and organized inspections of party committees that were weak in implementing the directive.

By November 8, 2012, the purchase and use of party newspapers by party committees and branches in Yen Thanh had positive changes. The number of Nghe An newspaper circulations reached 653 copies/679 branches (reaching 96.2%).

However, according to data from the Provincial Post Office, by November 12, 2012, the entire Yen Thanh district had ordered 670 copies of the newspaper and the newspaper provided to the Catholic area party cells was 16 copies out of a total of 724 party cells, grassroots party cells and affiliated party cells, reaching 94.7% of the party cells and party cells with the newspaper. Currently, there are still some party cells and party cells that have not seriously implemented it, such as the Yen Thanh Tax Department, the district Continuing Education Center, etc.
