1,400 bottles of unknown origin modern medicine on passenger bus
(Baonghean.vn) - Checking two passenger buses, authorities discovered that the buses were carrying 800 packs of cigarettes and 1,400 bottles of modern medicine without valid invoices or documents.
At 1:30 a.m. on June 21, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police) while on duty on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Hong Commune (Dien Chau) discovered a passenger bus with license plate 75B - 01151 acting suspiciously, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 1 suitcase and 2 passenger bags in the passenger compartment, containing 600 packs of Hero brand cigarettes and 200 packs of Zet brand cigarettes.
Driver Nguyen Trong Dung declared that the goods belonged to passenger Nguyen Thi Thu. The task force asked the passenger to present invoices and documents related to the goods, but Ms. Thu could not produce any.
Previously, at 0:30 a.m. the same day, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station also discovered on passenger bus with license plate 73B - 00672 driven by Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1979, residing in Huong Khe town, Ha Tinh), carrying 5 cardboard boxes containing 1,400 bottles of foreign-made modern medicine branded Salbutamol, without invoices or documents proving origin.

The working group has drawn up a record to temporarily detain the above goods and hand them over to the authorities for handling according to regulations.
